We invite your support and participation in this year's Table of Faith celebration, Bridging Faiths and Communities. We will recognize the achievements of faith and community leaders who work together to foster a culture of respect, appreciation and trust among people of all pathways in the metropolitan area.

The Council's vision is to build the most welcoming community for all people. That vision is symbolized this year as a bridge, in our 2011 Table of Faiths theme, representing the journey undertaken as we engage with people of other faiths. The enrichment attained in this journey is represented by the symbol of the lotus flower rising above murky waters as a pure and dazzling bloom.

Please join us in celebration and recognition of our 2011 honorees: Donna Ziegenhorn, who will receive the Steve Jeffers Interfaith Leadership Award; and the Kansas City Public Library, which will receive the Table of Faiths Award - for their commitments toward building inter-faith and cultural bridges in the Greater Kansas City area.
