Sharing Food...Sharing Stories of Faith and Family
Food and Thought - an interfaith and intercultural conversation moves into its third years as a joint program of the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council and Cultural Crossroads. Now an ongoing, year-round dialogue event, Food and Thought is a quarterly event hosted, in turn, at different faith institutions. All gatherings will include the sharing of simple foods and conversation within a diverse group.
The next Food and Thought gathering will be hosted by the Sikh Dharma community:
Sunday, October 14, 2012
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Sikh Temple Gurdwara Sahib
6834 Pflumm Road, Shawnee, KS 66216
For this event, members of the Gurdwara will provide the food. It should be understood that, for this Sikh-sponsored gathering only, participants will be seated "langar" style, on the floor. (Chair seating will also be available for those who find floor seating difficult. Please indicate when making your reservations whether seating arrangements will be needed.)
Space will be limited, so reservations are necessary.
Include whether seating arrangements are required.
